DUBUQUE - Two Loras College graduates are walking across the United States spreading their message about prayer.

Jesse Weiler and Jon Leonetti left California on foot in March. They are walking all the way to New Jersey.

The 2007 graduates walk about thirty miles each day then look for a place to sleep at night.

The pair stopped in Dubuque this week to take a break and discuss their mission.

"What we are doing this for is we are trying to be God's feet and God's hands. We are trying to actually live the gospel because a lot of young people don't have those examples like that in their families and in society," said Weiler.

Jon and Jesse expect to reach New Jersey by August first.
