Police originally responded to fighting and yelling at A Ave. NE around 10 p.m. Sunday.

Police say when they tried to arrest Terrance Talley, 24, he elbowed an officer in the face and punched another in the head. That's when two other people joined the scuffle.

Police say Octavia Powell, 26, jumped on an officer's back and punched and scratched him.

Police say Jhamal Wade, 25, also punched an officer in the face.

All three face charges of disorderly conduct and assault on a peace officer.
