Two Injured in Buchanan County Crash

BUCHANAN COUNTY - Two people were injured in a Monday afternoon crash in Buchanan County.

It happened at the intersection of C-57 and Mason Ave, near Hazelton, around 2:30 p.m. Monday.

State Patrol says Kevin Fogle, 19, of Independence, was driving his pickup north on Mason Ave. when he didn't stop at a stop sign. Fogle drove into the path of a truck driven by Kyron Cocking, 45, of Winthrop.

Fogle was airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Cocking was also injured and taken to a local hospital. No word on their conditions at this time.

Officials are still investigating the crash.
