Riverside and Washington County Fight Over Casino Agreement

RIVERSIDE - The agreement to build the Riverside Casino could send the city of Riverside and Washington County to court.

The Gazette reports Riverside says an agreement to pay the county $175,000 a year for ten years is unconstitutional.

The county says that's not true because the money is from casino revenue, not tax dollars.

The money is to pay for county-issued bonds that built a new water and waste water system to give Riverside the capacity to handle the Casino.
