Car Hits Semi; Two Sent to Hospital

BENTON COUNTY - Two people are hospitalized after a crash involving a car and semi. Benton County authorities were called to Highway 30 near the Keystone corner just before four Saturday morning.

The Benton County Sheriff's Office tells TV9 a car was heading westbound, crossed the center line and hit an eastbound semi. A male and female in the car were transported to St. Lukes Hospital for injuries.

There's no word on their condition. The driver of the semi was not hurt. Traffic on Highway 30 was backed up for some time this morning.
