Man Accused of Lying to Police in Murder Investigation

SIOUX CITY - A federal judge has set a trial date for a man tied to the Evelyn Miller murder case in Floyd County.

Danny Slick is accused of lying to federal agents who were investigating the 2005 slaying of the five-year-old girl.

The Charles City man allegedly made false statements about where his former roommate was in the hours after Evelyn Miller's disappearance.

Slick's trial will begin Nov. 20 in Sioux City.
