Driver in Fatal Edgewood Crash Identified

EDGEWOOD - A one-car crash left one person dead around 4:00pm Thursday.

The Clayton County Sheriff's Office identified the victim as Edna Fitzsimmons, 85, of Colesburg, IA.

The Clayton County Sheriff's Office says a red Volkswagen Beetle rolled into a field at the intersection of Highway 3 and Glacier Road, east of Edgewood.

Fitzsimmons died on the way to the hospital.
