CEDAR RAPIDS - A 14-year-old charged with first degree robbery and interference with official acts causing serious injury will be in adult court Tuesday.

The Linn County Attorney's office says Robert Watkins will make his first appearance at 10:30 a.m.

Watkins is believed to be connected to the robbery and assault on Cedar Rapids police officer Tim Davis.

The 14-year-old is also charged with assaulting a nine-year-old a few hours before Davis' assault.
