Culver's Approval Rating Hits New Low

CEDAR RAPIDS -- Iowa Governor Chet Culver's approval rating hit its lowest level since he took office, according to a new poll.

According to SurveyUSA, 42% of Iowans approve of the job Governor Culver is doing. That's a new low for Governor Culver.

50% of Iowans polled disapproved of Governor Culver's work. That ties a high since Culver took office, set in April 2008.

The Survey USA poll conducted between April 24 and 26 had a margin of error of 4%. It asked Iowans "Do you approve or disapprove of the job Chet Culver is doing as Governor?"
