Man Dies from Injuries After Crash

WASHINGTON COUNTY - A man who was injured in a Washington County crash last week has died.

Officials say that Ryan Ray Detweiler, 24, of Keota, has died from injuries he sustained in a crash at the intersection of 170th Street and Juniper Ave last Thursday.

A car driven by Jared William Gent, of Wellman, failed to yield at the intersection, and it collided with Detweiler's pickup truck.

Both drivers were taken to University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.
