CEDAR RAPIDS - A Cedar Rapids Police Officer injured in the line of duty is now back in Cedar Rapids. Officer Tim Davis responded to a robbery call earlier this month when Police say he was struck in the head. He was taken to University Hospitals in Iowa City.

On Thursday, Officer Davis was transported to Saint Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids where he will continue his recovery. Police say he continues to struggle with short term memory but is able to walk with assistance.
