RURAL HANOVER, IL. - A late night car accident sends one person to the hospital. The accident happened along South Gamble Hill Road, just south of West Hanover Road outside of Hanover, Illinois.
The Jo Daviess County Sheriff's Department says 35-year-old Shane Sullivan was driving north along South Gamble Hill Road when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle rolled several times, ejecting Sullivan from the vehicle.
He was taken to Midwest Medical in Galena, then air-lifted to a hospital in Rockford.
The crash remains under investigation, however officials believe Sullivan was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
