INDEPENDENCE (AP) - A judge has approved a no-contact order against a Coralville woman accused of slaying one son and trying to kill another.

Michelle Kehoe is charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder and child endangerment.

She's accused of killing her 2-year-old son, Seth, and attempting to kill her 7-year-old son, Sean, in rural Buchanan County on Oct. 26.

Prosecutors say the no contact order keeps 35-year-old Kehoe from having contact with her surviving son.

Buchanan County Attorney Allan Vanderhart says the order was a "loose end" that should have been dealt with at an initial court
appearance.

Court records show the no conact order was served on Kehoe on Wednesday.
