DES MOINES (AP) - An Iowa man charged in a deadly hit-and-run crash that killed a teenager last summer has pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide and drunken driving.

Colby Dunagan waived his right to a jury trial on Monday and pleaded guilty to charges in the July 7, 2008, death of 17-year-old Marcus Harrington of Chicago.

Dunagan was sentenced to 25 years in prison and a $25,000 fine.

At the time of the accident, police reported that Harrington and a friend were in-line skating on a Des Moines sidewalk when Dunagan lost control of the car and struck the boy.

Dunagan was arrested about an hour later by West Des Moines police when they noticed he was driving with a broken windshield.
