CEDAR RAPIDS – There has not been any new news in regards to Officer Tim Davis’ condition from Tuesday. He is still in guarded condition.
Officer Davis continues to be in the thoughts and prayers of not only the Cedar Rapids Police Department but in the community as well. The support from the community has been phenomenal. Requests of help have poured in to the department in all forms from offers of child care to food to money.
As a result of this offer to help, a fund has been established at Collins Community Credit Union through the Cedar Rapids Police Protective Association.
Anyone wishing to offset Officer Davis’ expenses for the family (food, parking, hotels, etc.) as well as the long term expenses that will accrue, can simply go to any Collins Community Credit Union and make a donation to the CRPPA – FBO Tim Davis (FBO means for the Benefit of.)
