DAVENPORT AP) - A former office manager of a manufactured home distributor in Mount Pleasant has been sentenced to three years in prison for writing checks to herself and forging her boss' signature.

Robin Leigh Patrick of Fort Madison was sentenced Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Davenport on 27 counts of counterfeit securities.

Patrick also was ordered to pay more than $357,000 restitution.

Prosecutors say Patrick worked at Davis Homes in Mount Pleasant when she wrote checks to herself, forged her boss' signature on those checks and then deposited some of the checks in her personal
bank account.

Prosecutors say Patrick also intercepted bank statements to prevent her boss from finding out about the scheme.
