IOWA CITY- Senior prom is an event many people never forget, but on Sunday, some got the chance to attend a different kind of prom.
A group of UI students held a senior prom for residents at the Greenwood Manor home in Iowa City.
Seniors were able to enjoy food, music, and even king and queen awards.
Student organizers say it was just a fun event for residents to enjoy on a quiet Sunday.
The student organizers are part of the university's Career Leadership Academy, and they have been visiting with residents for several weeks to plan the event.
