Hawkeye Football Player Suspended Indefinitely

IOWA CITY - Saturday Iowa football coach Kirk Ferentz punished one of his players cited for for drunken driving. Ferentz suspended freshman defensive back Shaun Prater indefinitely.

In a statement, Ferentz says he's "extremely disappointed" to learn of the incident. Prater will have to serve a number of internal obligations and will face multiple game suspensions this fall.
