CEDAR RAPIDS - About 40 people attended a meeting Tuesday evening to discuss the hundreds of cats roaming around flood damaged areas of Cedar Rapids.

Now, volunteers will try to create an action plan to capture, spay and neuter the animals.

Organizers would also like to reunite some of the cats with their owners as well.

They plan to hold a series of similar meetings in the coming weeks to work out the details of the plan.
