CASSVILLE, Wis. - Prosecutors have filed homicide charges in the death of Laura Tennessen, whose body police say three men tried to dig up in a separate case.
Tennessen, 20, died in a motorcycle crash on Aug. 27 in Cassville. Thomas Sweet, 20, of Lancaster, Wis., now faces charges of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Motor Vehicle and Homicide with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration. Sweet's initial court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 2.
In a separate case, police accuse three men of trying to dig up Tennessen's body. Alexander Grunke, Nicholas Grunke, and Dustin Radke will appear in court on Thursday for preliminary hearings. The three 20-year-olds are charged with attempted theft and attempted third-degree sexual assault.
