CEDAR RAPIDS (AP) - A man who authorities say made a threatening phone call to a Red Robin restaurant in Cedar Rapids has been arrested by police in Ohio.

Richard Lee Minch, 48, of Wyoming, Mich., is charged with making death threats and disruption of interstate commerce.

Police say the call Minch made to the Cedar Rapids restaurant on Dec. 30 caused it to be closed for about an hour while officers checked the building and surrounding area. Minch is accused of telling an employee that he was in the parking lot and would shoot everyone inside.

Police say the lockdown was related to about a dozen other similar incidents across the country.

Minch is in custody in Ohio.
