CEDAR RAPIDS - Iowa's three public universities have until this Friday to submit a plan of action to the Board of Regents about how they'll meet Governor Chet Culver's order to reduce spending.

The University of Iowa must cut about 7.5 million dollars. ISU about 7.2 million and UNI about 2.6 million dollars.

The board set a deadline of June 30th to finalize those plans.
