JONES COUNTY- Fire destroyed a family's home in Jones County on Christmas morning.

Fire crews were called at 9:30 to 9736 75th Street in Wyoming, Iowa.

The home was completely engulfed by the time the crews got there and it has been declared a total loss.

The family was not home at the time, and there are no injuries.
They say their furnace broke on Christmas Eve but aren't sure what started the fire, or if that even contributed to it.

It took several fire crews from Wyoming and surrounding towns to put out the fire with about 60,000 gallons of water.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
