Chase Arrests

Dubuque Police arrest two people after a chase through the city and into Wisconsin.

The Grant County Sheriff's Office says 43 year old Joann Lewis of Dickeyville, Wisconsin was wanted for an escape from a residential facility.

Dubuque police requested help from sheriff's deputies after Lewis refused to stop for officers around three Tuesday afternoon.

Police eventually arrested Lewis and her passenger, 49 year old Douglas Ernst of Bellevue.

Charges are pending.
