36 Headstones Disrupted At Millersburg Cemetery

MILLERBURG, Iowa -- The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the vandalism of 36 headstones at the Millersburg Cemetery. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the headstones were either knocked over or removed from their locations.

Lt. Tim Walters said the case is open and no one is in custody. At this time there is no estimated dollar amount for the damage. Investigators believe the vandalism happened sometime over last weekend, as it was discovered on Sunday afternoon.

The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information in the case to come forward.
