JOHNSON COUNTY - Three men are in jail for allegedly using counterfeit bills.
Police say 31-year-old Justin Luetjen gave $120 in fake bills to another person who was supposed to buy drugs.
Police say when the drug dealer wouldn't take the fake money, the middle-man instead used the bad bills to buy goods at several stores.
Luetjen is charged with forgery, money laundering, conspiracy.
Two other men involved with these incidents, James Augustine and Harold Hunter of North Liberty, face similar charges.
