North Liberty Man Killed in I-80 Crash

IOWA COUTNY - An accident killed one person and stopped traffic on Interstate 80 for 90 minutes. It happened on Wednesday morning, a few miles west of Williamsburg.

The State Patrol says a Florida driver lost control of his semi on the icy highway. It crossed the median into the eastbound lanes, where it was hit by a van.

The driver of the van, John Mayrose, 30, of North Liberty, was killed.
