UPDATE: DM Police Find Lost Child's Parents

DES MOINES (AP) - Police have found the parents of a 3-year-old girl found in Des Moines outside without a coat and only one shoe.

The girl was found walking Friday about 7:30 a.m., a time when the temperature in Des Moines was 10 degrees.

Police say her parents were en route to Des Moines from their jobs in Perry. They told Des Moines police they had left the girl with a babysitter early Friday and didn't know how she got outside.
