Cedar Rapids police say just after 1:00 Thursday morning, officers tried to stop a car for a traffic violation near Wiley Blvd. and Roxbury Drive NW.
The driver took off, then got out of the car at the 5100 block of Wilson Avenue SW and ran. Officers later arrested him in the Hames Mobile Home Park.
Matthew Robbins, 36, is charged with third offense OWI, driving while barred, attempting to elude, and interference with official acts causing injury. That's because police say an officer was scratched on the face.
