IOWA CITY - People from around the world who have heard about the Kehoe tragedy are conveying their thoughts and prayers to the family during this difficult time.

Just fewer than three weeks after Seth Kehoe celebrated his second birthday, funeral preparations for the young boy are underway.

Messages of hope and faith continue to pour in for the family while some are taking the chance to say good-bye to Seth.
The Kehoe family says 2-year old Seth loved fire trucks.

Elmo, or Nelmo, as Seth called him, was one of his favorites. And Seth loved playing with his older brother Sean.

Pages and pages of comments posted on the Lensing funeral home website from friends...or complete strangers...describe Seth simply as "an angel".

The Krueger family writes "Seth is such a beautiful and loving little guy..."

A mom exclaims "this just breaks my heart to see his cute little smile...We didn't know the Kehoe family at all, however they have touched my whole family deeply."

A woman named Cindy says, "as a mother of a 6 year old little boy...my heart goes out to you in this time of loss. As my son says, heaven is a long ways away mommy, but they are forever in your heart."

While not much is known about how Seth spent his last minutes on Earth, it is evident that his short life touched the hearts of many.

In the words quoted from an unknown author in a posting on Seth's site by Amanda J, we read:

"The saddest word mankind knows will always be good-bye. So when a little child departs, we who are left behind, must realize God loves children. Angels are hard to find."

A viewing will be held tomorrow from four to seven P-M for Seth at St. Wenceslaus Church in Iowa City.

Seth's funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 A-M.

No word yet on who will be speaking at the funeral, or if Seth's mom or older brother Sean will attend.
