Nussle In Iowa City

IOWA CITY - The republican candidate for governor has a plan to help cover the rising cost of college. Jim Nussle wants to help pay off student loans for people who stay and work in Iowa after graduation. He says education is his top priority. Nussle said, “We have to look forward. We have to begin planning for the future. And we can't just allow this to be a goal of getting back to average or getting to where we used to be. We have to look forward." Nussle also says he wants to increase teachers' salaries.
