Police say that the crimes seem to be random and that some vehicles were on the street and some were in the drive near the house.
The best tips to reduce your chance of being a victim are as:
-Don't leave anything of value in plain sight in your vehicle.
-Lock the doors to your vehicle.
-Park in the driveway when possible. It will reduce your chances some.
-Leave your front porch/garage lights on.
-As you are walking by windows at the front of your home, look out at your vehicle and in the street at other vehicles. If you see someone suspicious, call the police.
-Talk to your neighbors. See if they have heard of anything happening in your neighborhood.
-Check on your kids during the night. Make sure that your kids are in bed and not the ones part of the problem. Talk to your kids. They may know more than you think about what goes on in your neighborhood.
