This does not surprise me. Many people in that town are not all "with it". Only in Muscatine does a man try to catch his wife on fire. Way to go M town. They also have many issues at their high school. Unfair treatment of athletes, intense bullying, ect...

He was always a question mark when it came to his mental state/health and he always had a temper but DANG. And the comment about him being possibly drunk---yes he can certainly be held accountable regardless. Otherwise no one would get OWIs or get pregnant after alcohol intake. Geez.

...to get the Muscatine Police Department a new mugshot camera! HOLY ****!! Either God showed up behind the camera, or this was taken with a webcam. It's the 21st century people, get it together! I've seen better pics taken with a disposable. On a side note - here we go again with the oversentencing... an attempted murder charge, and an "arson" charge... isn't the fact that he tried to kill someone the pertinent issue here? Just more court-babble to keep those prisons crowded. Genius.

In his picture he appears to be trying to look tough. Does he think it takes a big man to hurt a woman? Wonder how tough he will be in jail......
