3 Charged in Des Moines Warehouse Fire that Burned for Days
DES MOINES, Iowa —Three people have been arrested and charged in connection with a fire in a Des Moines recycling company.
The fire at 1422 Scott Avenue burned for days, sending smoke across the metro area.
The Des Moines Fire Department and Des Moines Police Department said interviews with several witnesses and suspects were conducted.
Officials said that thanks to the citizens of Des Moines for their assistance in providing valuable information, three people were arrested and charged with second-degree arson in connection with the case.
Charged were filed against Nathan Noland, 17, of Des Moines; Mickey Berger, 17, of Des Moines, and Kristopher Duff, 20, of Des Moines.
They were taken to Polk County Jail for processing and then the two juveniles were then taken to a juvenile facility.
