SIOUX CITY (AP) - Attorneys for a Sioux City man accused of killing a Nebraska teenager at a party wants his trial moved out of Woodbury County.
Matthew Hettinger is charged in the slaying of Raina Hulit, 15, of South Sioux City, Neb. Police say he shot her at his house on Jan. 5, then dumped the body in a park.
Hettinger is charged with first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse. His trial is set for Feb. 17.
Hettinger's attorneys asked a judge on Monday to move the trial, citing pretrial publicity about the case.
The judge did not make an immediate ruling.
