ParaGlider Crashes into High Voltage Wire

GRANT COUNTY, WI - A Powered ParaGlider piloted by Michael Bailey of Potosi, Wisconsin hit a high voltage wire over the Plate River near Banfield, Paris Township around 7:00 p.m. Saturday.
The Grant County Sheriff's Department says the crash caused Bailey and his passenger, Karen Reynolds of Potosi, Wisconsin, to fall a short distance into the river. Neither was hurt.
The high voltage wire snapped, causing a power outage for a short time in the area near the crash.
