$250,000 For Tornado-Damaged Historic Buildings

IOWA CITY - Owners of tornado-damaged historic buildings in Johnson County will soon get some state help.

$250,000 in state aid will be available to help rebuild historic buildings in the county. Lawmakers and local officials plan to announce details Tuesday.

The White House is still deciding what kind of federal aid to offer to tornado victims.
