WEST UNION (AP) - Fayette County authorities say they have arrested a couple of Agriprocessors Inc. employees for using false identification during a traffic stop.

Sheriff's officials say when they searched the car the men were riding in they also found 13 false birth certificates and Social Security cards. They say more charges are pending and federal officials are also investigating.

The arrests were made Sunday after an deputy pulled over a car east of West Union for several traffic violations.

Authorities say the driver, 38-year-old Enrique Ortiz of North Carolina, and his passenger, 35-year-old Crisofora Barrios, were charged with using false documents. Barrios was also arrested on a charge of public intoxication with an open container. They men claimed they were Agriprocessors employees.

Agents arrested 389 people in May during an immigration raid at the Agriprocessors plant in Postville.
