COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Investigators have now identified two people found dead in their Columbus Junction home.

The Louisa County Sheriff's Office got a call around 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning about a shooting at 1304 Colton Street.

The Department of Criminal Investigation now says it appears to be a murder - suicide. They say an autopsy Monday confirmed Pedro Moedano shot his wife Maria Moedano several times, then shot and killed himself.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is looking into the incident, along with county sheriffs and Columbus Junction police.
