Man Dies After Falling from Pickup

FOREST CITY (AP) - A north-central Iowa man has died after an accidental fall from the back of his pickup.

Authorities say Ordean Fredrickson, 71, died at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa after falling from the truck on Saturday.

A spokeswoman for the Winnebago County sheriff's department says officials believe Fredrickson was either loading or unloading a washing machine from the back of the truck when he fell.
