SOLDIERS GROVE, Wis. (AP) - About a half dozen pigs attacked a woman who fell on a Crawford County farm.
In a news release, the county sheriff's department says officials there received a 911 call about 11:30 a.m. Friday at a farm four miles northwest of Soldiers Grove.
The department says Judy Surface, 69, was moving pigs between pens when she tripped and fell. Four to six pigs then attacked her, but two neighbors helping at the farm distracted the pigs and pulled her out.
The department says she was taken to a local hospital, where she was treated for severe cuts to arms and legs.
