GALVA, Iowa (AP) - Customers at the Galva Holstein Ag station now have more ethanol to choose from.

The business has the state's first blender pump, which offers the common 10 percent blend, the E-85 blend for flex-fuel vehicles, and a new 30 percent ethanol blend.

The manager of the station's energy department says the blender pump allows the northwest Iowa business to expand it's ethanol offerings.

While it's the first blender pump in Iowa, a few dozen others are found in at least four other states.

While ethanol supporters say E30 is safe for regular engines, car makers disagree and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is studying the issue.
