Free Iowa City Tornado Debris Removal Deadline Approaching

IOWA CITY - The designated time period for removing all of that tornado debris is starting to wind down in Iowa City. The last day for free curbside pickup of building debris will be Friday. The last day for curbside pickup of large tree debris is Wednesday, May 3.

Then normal curbside pickup of yard waste will resume on Thursday, May 4. People in Iowa city can continue to drop off tree debris free of charge at the public works complex.
