Honestly, medical condition or not, if this person was driving for some time THE WRONG WAY on a 4-lane, divided Hwy, how could they NOT KNOW they were going the wrong way? I just don't understand how anyone could not know.

I feel very sad about this-I am 37 years old and have 2 children. I just don't understand how someone could go north in a southbound lane...Our thoughts are with the families involved.

Carrie left behind 3 boys -- 13,6,5 -- The 5 year old asked last nite when his mom was coming home -- a good family has to suffer because of someone's misconceptions of life --

If you could all have a little compassion for the children who tragically lost their father, that would be the American thing to do! Our hearts are with Carrie's family as well as Jay's (the van driver). His children will also suffer. Have a heart!

A good family has to suffer.......on both sides. It was a terrible tragedy that both families have to heal from. 5 Children are without their parents. Don't lay blame, lay groundwork for their healing.

Even if Jay did have medical problems that couldn't be helped how can you justify him driving carelessly and obviously in intent to take someone with him. I think it was a heartless act that affected the lives of too many, Jesup was saddened.
