IOWA CITY - Tornado debris still blocks several streets in Iowa City as the clean-up efforts continue. The city wants drivers to avoid all of the downtown district.
Streets north of downtown are either closed or partially closed. And Governor Street, or Highway One northbound, is blocked off.
The city says North Dubuque Street, Burlington Street, Dodge Street, Highway Six and Riverside Drive are the best bets for getting through the city.
