Thousands Lose Power During Storms

IOWA CITY - At the height of Thursday night’s storms, more than 10,000 people were without power across eastern Iowa.

The worst hit area was Iowa City, where thousands are still without electricity this morning. Alliant Energy reports some customers in Anamosa are still without power, but they hope to have it back up by midday.
