CEDAR RAPIDS - Some Cedar Rapids homeowners will get the chance to let the city know if they're interested in a buyout.

At 7:00 p.m., the city will host the first of a series of neighborhood meetings.

Monday night's meeting is at the Jefferson High School Auditorium.

People who want to have their homes bought out can add their name to a list at that time.

However, adding your name does not guarantee you will get bought out and receive any money.

Additional meetings will be held:

Thursday, August 7th at 7:00 pm
Washington High School Cafeteria, 2205 Forest Drive SE

Monday, August 18th at 7:00 pm
Jefferson High School Auditorium, 1243 20th Street SW

Tuesday, August 19th at 7:00 pm
Washington High School Cafeteria, 2205 Forest Drive SE
