IOWA CITY (AP) - Some flood-damaged buildings at the University of Iowa are being targeted by thieves.

At the Voxman Music Building, returning faculty have found offices ransacked and computers and electronic equipment stolen. Officials say because of limited access to the building and with so many faculty still out of town, the search for more thefts is ongoing.

Faculty in other flooded buildings also are missing equipment. Officials say they hope some of the missing items have just be misplaced, not stolen.

The Iowa River poured out of its banks last month, flooding 20 campus buildings.
