MANCHESTER - Manchester police have found a missing Manchester girl.

On Tuesday TV-9 told you about Emily Eimer's efforts to find her 16-year-old daughter Krissy Haferbecker.

Eimer was posting signs all over Manchester in hopes of finding Krissy who she say ran-away Sunday morning.

Police say they found the girl in Manchester late last night.

Actually this young lady does NOT have it as good as you think, her Mom and step Dad are addicts! These kids would have to clean vomit up after Emily drank and did to many drugs with her meds and would go into a seizures from it as well !! DHS has been involved with this family for OVER 10 years, the kids were taken several times but always gven back...BAD MOVE! Some needs to hekp these kids now!

I'd suggest you reread the law books my friend, there is no 21 year old restriction I have had my personal lawyer check into this and he has given me the thumbs up, so I know what I am talking about, 16 years old is completely legal in Iowa with no restrictions. 14 is legal if you're 16 years old and 15 is legal if your 17, once you turn 18 its 16 and up all the way.

if you are over the age of 21 she's not legal. or maybe you should be happy for the family finding her rather than making perverted comments..and for those bringing politics into the matter go over to foxnews and debate there the story itself has NOTHING to do w/politics

She is 16 years old which makes her 100% USDA Grade A legal in Iowa.

Not to turn this topic away from the story, but to "5:06" and "8:04", as well as "TO 10:11 CENSORSHIP wrote" I am surprised the two initial comments were allowed to remain on the board. Part of the user agreement below each comment section states, "I shall not knowingly post content that ...defamatory, obscene, abusive, ...or that is otherwise inappropriate." This is not a 1st Amendment issue, it is an issue of allowable comments by the moderator. KCRG, you need to moderate!

From local radio: The search for a Manchester teen runaway is over. Manchester Police say 16-year old Krissy Haferbecker was found Tuesday night. Haferbecker was believed to have run away from her home early Sunday morning. Her mother, Emily Eimer, had posted signs all over Manchester asking for the public's help in finding her daughter. Manchester Police say runaway cases are reported to their department on a regular basis. From what I hear, she was just at a freinds house, and done it b4

If you don't like wat you see in the blogs then stay out of them. everyone has a right to voice thier opinion, whether you agree with it or not. This is one of our 1st amendment rights and you want blogs to be censored?? You must certainly be a democrat, this is definately the thinking of a dem. They love to make new laws, take rights and freedoms away, so I'm willing to bet your in this catagory. NO the moderator should not be fired, what's wrong with you???

Thankfully she is at home, I am sure they would have told weveryone if she was not alive. I agree with 1:57, but I also agree that the underlying cause should be looked into privately. I hope things will go well in this girl's life.

-8:04 and 5:06, you both should be ashamed of your comments. If, God forbid, you both reproduce someday maybe you'll have better parenting sense than to make those comments!

Unbelievable! KCRG you have done it again! Allowing tasteless comments like 5:06pm and 8:04pm. The moderator of the comments really should be fired!

To Kelly.....you are an idiot! Maybe all your pebbles and ripples are just because you sit and stare at water all the time. Cry yourself a river!(then you can sit and look at the ripples!)

She was putting tacks on the road for the RAGBRAI riders!

my dog was in heat once and ran away

People seem to think they know so much. people react to others reactions. Its a pebble and ripple effect. you see a a ripple and no one ever looks under the water to see what caused it, they all think it was caused by the pebble. I personally have lived and seen this time and time again. The disruptive child is too often the focus - when the ripple is seen- but how often are the parents truly truly looked at.The whole behind closed door saying is very real. Bet there is a "step" involved.

good news is if she ran away she will more than likely be put in a place like foundation 2 as i have known run aways that have been forced to go there afterwards maybe that will wake her up!

Wednesday, Jul 23 at 5:41 PM OMG wrote ...

This reads like it was written by a 12 year old. "who she say ran away", is that even correct grammer. Some detail would be helpful too. But I'm glad she was found.

Good news that she was found yes...but I know the girl and she is troube with a capital T. Hopefully, she will realize what she put everyone through and will change her ways.

Wednesday, Jul 23 at 2:04 PM anon wrote ...

are they gonna say where she was this whole time?

Wednesday, Jul 23 at 1:57 PM Anonymous wrote ...

Someone needs to remind this "young lady" just how good she has it .... a mother willing to look for her, a roof over her head and love. Read the recent news stories of all the children being abused by their parents, being neglected by their parents .... OH and then lets remind her of all the news headlines of young adults who have ran away because their parents rules were "too strict" and end up dead along a creek bed. My hat off to her mother!!

Good news!
