Man Hospitalized in Waterloo Shooting

WATERLOO - Police responded to a shooting near West 11th and Washington Streets in Waterloo around 2:30 pm on Tuesday afternoon.

Based on a witness report, police stopped a red colored two-door car at East 6th and Mulberry Streets.

Capt. Beckman says police found the shooting victim, Angello Ross, 20, of Waterloo, in a car. He was taken to Allen Memorial Hospital with a non-life threatening gun shot wound to his leg.

No arrest has been made at this time. The investigation continues.
